Now, the wormhole thing is said to really exist, that points in space exist which are interconnected through another dimension, possibly in different "times". However, such wormholes, if at all they exist, are small, and any particle passing through  it whould warp the space -time curvature and destabilize the wormhole. hence, time travel ( or infact travelling faster than light ) by this method is not possible
