WHEN AN ELECTRODE LOSES ELECTRON (i.e -VE CHARGE) THEN D ELECTRODE POTENTIAL BECOMES POSITIVE AND WHEN ANOTHER ELECTRODE ACCEPTS ELECTRON (-VE CHARGE) THEN ITS POTENTIAL BECOMES NEGATIVE
AND REMEMBER OXIDATION IS D LOSS OF ELECTRON
