The answer is  A.
 
Br2 is a mild oxidising agent and since Glucose has a free aldehyde group oxidation of the aldehyde group takes place.(note:aldehydes can be oxidised into carboxylic acids even by mild oxidising agents.)
 
Br2  + 2 e-à  2Br -
 
The first carbon will become -COOH .  The sixth carbon is  -CH2OH
and it cannot be oxidised by Bromine water.
So it remains as 
CH2OH  .
All the other carbons are unaffected by bromine water.So it retains the configuration as such.
