hyperconjugation is better known as baker-nathan effect.it involves delocalisation of sigma bonds.the sigma bond pair of alpha carbon shifts towards the carbon-carbon forming a double bond as such.it is also called as no bond resonance.as in toulene.one of the three H atoms donate their electrons and the whole electron pair moves towards the c-c bond to form a double bond. rate me if you like.
