Its simple. The answer is 4.
Starting from left, I am numbering the C as 1,2,3,4,5.
As SP hybridised C is linear, therefore 2 and 3 will be in a line.
Now, as 2 can make only linear bonds, it has made one with 3 and the other one it makes with 1. Hence 1,2,3 are linear.
SImilarly, 3 can make 2 linear bonds. One it has made with 2 and the other one it makes with 4. Hence now 1,2,3,4 are linear.
Now 4 is SP2 hybridised. Means trigonal planar geometry. Means bond angle=120 degrees. It has already made one bond with 3, and which means that the bond angle between 4 and 5 shud be 120 now which means that 5 is not in line with the other four.
Hence only 4 C are linear.
Hope its clear.
