The number of images for two mutually perpendicular mirrors is (360 / 90) - 1=3

Therefore considering there are three pairs of mutually perpendicular circuits we get 9 images in total.

 

Any plane mirror does lateral inversion that is left to right and right to left. But this is not due to the mirror. It is due to our eyes.
