compare upthrusts on both
for iron,
U=1/7800*1.293*9.8=0.0016 N
for wood
U=1/800*1.293*9.8=0.0161 N
Hence comparing readings we get
(9.8-0.0016)/(9.8-0,016)
 
=1.0015
