umm.. i know a few..
(NH2)S is used to selectively reduce one of the 2 (or more) nitro groups in a benzene ring. but the nitro group it reduces depends in various factors like steric, H- bonding, etc.
then P/HI is used to reduce a -COOH grp to -CH3 tho im not sure if its selective in natture or not...
shall update if i remember more :)
