I hav posted the ques in the figure.

I dont know how to use sub,super-scripts in Paint, so I am writing the groups here-

Me= CH₃

OSO2CF3 = OSO₂CF₃

HBR2 = HBR₂

OH- = OH^-

I just want to know what this HBR₂ is? I hav never heard or read about this reagent anywhere.

Maybe my information is less.

So those who know what is this reagent, PLZ tell something about it and PLZ also post the reaction mechanism.
