Its a question in matrix match-Chem-Paper-I.
The reaction that was asked in column 1, is shown in the figure.
 
The corresponding matches as given in the solution were-
 
Free Radical
Carbene.
 
There is no role of free radical in this reaction. Its a simple Carbene reaction. Those who know how to do this reaction with free radical, PLZ post the mechanism.
