Tarin, I never expected you, of all the people to start such a post.
This post should be closed down now.Not only is the post itself rubbish, it can also be demoralising to many aspirants as a lot of people are enrolled in fiitjee aits. Maybe you and me wont be affected by this post, but beleive me, a LOT of people are out there who are low on confidence and who rely solely on fiitjee aits. Though unknowingly, you might be demoralising a lot of people...please discontinue this post.
Look buddy, no institute is perfect. EVERY institute has it's flaws. I am a fiitjee student myself, and frankly, I do not agree with certain things that fiitjee does. fiitjee AITS is supposed to be one of the best in the country. Brilliants is also excellent. It doesnt really matter which is better. So long as you work hard, nothing can stop you from clearing JEE. These AITS are designed to simulate the real JEE. The papers are always of fluctuating difficulty levels to ensure an ideal student is prepared for all types of papers on d-day. Just for a second, leave all other thoughts, and think of how much the aits would have BENEFITED you. Not only has it given you an exposure to the different types of questions, but it also helps in developing proper examination temperament.
Let me tell you one thing. Whenever we are in a bad situation, it is a general tendency for all humans (not just students) to try and lift the blame of themselves. "Solutions were wrong yaar thats why I am scoring low" "Stupid paper" "too tough" "questions were too easy" "crap".. You get to hear all these every sunday in recent times. Maybe you might have noticed, it is ONLY the people who score less who complain like this. If you are hardworking and have truly put in your effort, you'll know better than to complain.
And yes, sometimes you come to know this question was lifted from some old russian book or so. Right, so are you irritated about this? Did you solve that so and so book completely and feel that doing the question a second time is a waste of your precious time? no,right? No institute can be expected to frame 100000 new questions every year..Sometimes, they do refer other sources for problems. It is for our good. We should learn not to complain for such stuff..
As for as the solutions being wrong, YES some of them were wrong. No one said they were perfect. Human error. Such stuff happens..How many of us are so perfect anyway?? But anway, i dont see how a few wrong answers can affect ur percentlile. You know you are correct about the particular question, then why are you so perturbed? dude, if its wrong, then its wrong for EVERYONE. And JEE being an examination that tests RELATIVE performance, it doesnt affect u at all.
Finally I just wanna tell u....whenver, someone has helped us, even in a small way, we should remember never to criticize him/her. Maybe it was not upto the standards you expected, but atleast the aits was designed to help u. It is the result of so much research, so much toil from a lot of people who did it solely for our education, for our future. If you are going to find faults in each and every thing, believe me, that is the ONLY thing you will do till the JEE day. Focus on the postives and leave the rest....If you work hard hard, nothing can stop you from clearing the JEE....
