in graphite carbon undergoes sp2 hybridisation i.e. one 2s orbital and two 2p (2px1 and 2py1) undergo hybridisation to form 3 sp2 hybrid orbitals , so 3 bonds have to satisfied by sigma bond for which in graphite each carbon atom is linked to three other carbon atoms forming regular hexagon, so u get 120 or 2pi/3 as the angle between the atoms of carbon

but i dont know why its given as pi/3
