here is my soln (which i already know) his probability of winning will increase from 1/3 to 2/3 cos before there is one car and 2 goats hence the probability of him having chosen the car is 1/3 now , the goat is shown so either the player has chosen the car or he has chosen the first goat or he has chosen the 2nd goat . so there are 3 possibilities and if he switches then he either gets the goat (in first case) or he gets the car in both the left cases thus now the probability is 2/3 |
