when 1 of the alkyls around O (in ether) is tertiery , we say that I goes to it because in this case reaction follows Sn1...
similar is the case here...benzyl carbocation is even more stable than tertiery carbocation!! so path followed is Sn1...and I goes to benzyl....
so benzyl iodide is formed....with it is formed ethyl alcohol...
