first the gravitational force attracts 2 body any where in universe hence moon faces the force of sun but since the distance between earth and moon is comparatively v low than distance between moon and sun the effect is smaller(not negligible) as a result moon is also a satellite of sun
for better look use triangle law of vector addition by considering them at vertices's of triangle
