suppose the current in it is increasing...flux through the coil tries to increase...
then according to lenz law....it sets up a current in the coil such that the magnetic field due to induced current opposes the direction of the original current...
this simply means that the current is induced in opposite direction...
so it takes more time to rise.....
when current is decreasing flux is decreasing so it tries to increase the flux by inducing current in same direction.. so decay is fast...
