consider resis. /unitlength as a
radius = r
 
when angle at centre is 60*,
 
the length of minor and major arc are r/3 and 5r/3
resis. = r/3*a and 5r/3*a
 
they are in parallel
 eff. resis =           5ar/18 = R
 
when angle at centre = 90* ,the arc lengths are r/2 and 3r/2
resis. = r/2*a and 3r/2*a
 
they are in parallel ...effe resis. = 3ar/8 = 1.35R
