basically the coeff of friction mentioned is something lik the maximum value possible..
i mean maximum frictional force is in this case 4N..but tht is provided only when needed..otherwise friction provieds force jus enuf to balance opposing force..what i mean is force due to friction varies from 0 to max value as required
in this sum it takes value of 4N when body is moving as it tries its best to oppose motion...but when the body comes to rest as the net external force is only 2N..friction also opposes with 2N only
