Total volume after reactn = 83.2
 
O2 + CO2 = 83.2
 
but vol of CO2 = 10.8 ...................1
 
Therefore vol of excess O2 =72.4
therefore O2 reacted =12.6 g.................................2
 
CH4 + 2O2 = CO2 + 2H2O   ( let vol of CH4 = x )
from the reactn  vol of O2 reacting with it =2x and vol of CO2 produced =x.......3
 
now 2H2 + O2 = 2H2O ( let vol of H2O = 2y )
 
Therefore vol of O2 ractn with it = y..................4
 
let vol of CO2 present in the mix initially = z............5
 
from 1,2,3,4,5 we get the eqns
 
x+ 2y + z =15 ( total vol of mix)
 
x + z = 10.8 ( total vol of CO2 )
 
2x + y = 12.6 (total vol of O2 reactin )
 
solvin the eqns CH4= 5.25g = 35 % 
                        H2 4.2g = 28 %
 
rest = CO2  = 37 %
