if anion of a conjugate acid is less stable..... then.. it will react very easily wid watever is available to regain stability........ so... it will be a stronger base......
eg... take NaOH... its conjugate acid is[ NaOH2]+ ..... it will be unstable and break up into H2O and Na+ ..... then .. the Na+ will react wid availabe cation more easily...... so.... we call it a strong base.
