Hey here are some mathematical pranks to be played on your friends.

1) GUESS THE NUMBER:

Ask a friend to help you with this number trick. Tell your friend to think of a number and write it down without telling you what it is.

Give them the calculator and tell them

--enter the number

--double it(x 2)

--add 4

--divide by 2

--add 7

--multiply by 8

--subtract 12

--divide by 4

--subtract 11

Now tell him to give you the calci. Take the calci and subtract 4 from the number on display and divide the number obtained by 2. ???????????? This was the number your friend thought of!!!!!

This works with any number of digits.

2) Magic ?9? trick:

The answer to this calculation is always 9 (only after reducing the digits to their lowest form).

Write down any four-digit number (including digits from 1 to 9).

Arrange the digits to obtain the largest number that can be formed by using these digits.

Similarly form the smallest number using the same digits.

Now, subtract the smallest number from the largest.

Reduce the number obtained to its lowest form and u get 9 and only 9.

E.g. I selected 5,9,8,3

Largest number= 9853, Smallest number= 3589

Now do, 9853-3589= 6264

Now reduce 6264 to its lowest form, so we get 6+2+6+4=18

Again reduce 18 and u get 9.

AWESOME NA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And one more???????????????..

3) Square Tricks: (This is a little simple one).

i) Think of a two digit number.

ii) Square it.

iii) Now add one to the two digit number.

iv) Square this number also.

v) Subtract the two numbers obtained frm (iv) and (ii).

vi) Now subtract 1 from the number u got from (v) and divide that number by 2????????????and u get the two-digit number with which u begun this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

E.g. I selected 13

13 x 13= 169----------------------------(i)

13 + 1=14

14 x 14= 196----------------------------(ii)

Subtracting (i) from (ii),

196 ? 169 = 27

Now 27-1 = 26

And 26/2 = 13???? which is the number I selected.
