yeah right......... but HCN is very weak acid......... so it wont give out many H+ ions...... but if K reacts wid acetaldehyde... it will form a fully dissociatable salt... hence the solution should become alkaline... pH increases.... but i dont think KCN can react wid aldihydes ......... CN- is stronger than aldehydes..
