consider the fan u have jst turned onn.... for all particles going in a circle... they have a radial acceleration so they travel in circular path.... but the fan u tured on begins to increase its speed..... so it has acceleration in the direction of its motion tooo... thats its tangential acceleration....
the velocity will change only in angular velocity changes for a particular particle... considering fan.. if it rotates faster... then its angular velocity is also high.. hence its velocity.. omega can chage in any way.. uniform or non uniform radial acceleration depends on omega... and tangential acceleration depends on radius vector...
