hi joyfrancis the soln. is as follows (1+cosx)(2sinx-cosx)=sin2x 2sinx-cosx+2sinxcosx-cos2x-sin2x=0 2sinx-cosx+2sinxcosx-1=0 1(2sinx-1)+cosx(2sinx-1)=0 (1+cosx)(2sinx-1)=0 cosx=-1 or sinx=1/2 therefore x=2npi +- pi x=npi + (-1)npi/6
