this is basically probability:
integers which can sum up to 7 are: (7),(6,1),(5,2),(4,3),(2,4,1)
hence v have (-1)^1*7 + (-1)^2*6 + (-1)^2*12 +(-1)^2(10) + (-1)^3*(8)
=-7+6+10+12-8=13
