the coordinates of the pts where it intersects the x and y axis are (-c/a,0) (0,c/b), (c/a,0),(0,-c/b) the distance between the alternate pts will give the length of the diagonal...which will be 2c/a and 2c/b.
now apply the formula to calculate the area of rhombus which is 0.5*(length of diagonal1)*(length of diagonal 2)
