I think the IT sector is coming down due to the appreciation of Rupee.As most of the clients of IT companies are US based ,rupee appreciation has only meant that their profits are being hit.This is evident from the fact that IT companies are on a "firing" spree to cut down operational costs....they are shifting their focus from America to European countries and finally which matters us the most,IT companies havent increased the pay package for campus recruits compared to last year ,even when the inflation is at all time high.... But core Branches like Mech,Elec ,Civil are doing a great job due to the opening of a large number of metal l companies and construction companies.....Hope u find it useful
