Consider (x-1)^n+2 = Cox^n+2 - C1 x^n+1 ...
Differentiating we get
(n+2)(1)(x-1)^n+1 = (n+2)Cox^n+1 - (n+1)C1 x^n .....
Putting x = 2 , we get the desired result
=> n+2.
Why option C :( . Are you sure you have typed the power of 2 correctly, I think every power should be increased by 1 to get the required answer.Or simply by symmetry you can guess the answer.
