simple
if a is angle line comes out from q1 and b is angle line goes into q2 then
q1/q2 = sin^2(b/2)/sin^2(a/2)
so 1/2= sin^2(b/2)/sin^2(pi/4)
sin^2(b/2)=1/4
b/2=30
b=60
and line does not leave but goes into q2 it must be a misprint.
