In HC Verma Electric Field and Potential short answer question there is a question of two charges q1 and q2 and field lines drawn. We have to find the relation between the two angles.
You have to assume that number of lines entering q2= number of lines coming out from q1 * (q2/q1)
Then you can prove it using gauss law and using solid angles
