Ranking procedure for jee clearly states
in point 3. Subject-wise Cut off- All candidates whose marks are in the top 80% bracket of the total candidates appeared will qualify the cut off requirement for that subject for General/DS category. Candidates meeting the cut off requirements for all the three subjects will be considered for the ranking.
