2y = 2 - 2x
take log on both sides
ylog2 = log(2-2x)
y=log2(2-2x) ...........( i think u got this step loga/logb = logba)
Now for log to be defined,
2 - 2x >0
that implies 2x < 2
That implies x belongs to (-inf,1)
