when u r finding out the effective resistance across any complex circuit what are the things that u must keep in mind , allllll the things . like what du u mean by " across any resistance the potential is 0 " like any better than that
Dear While finding out effective resistance
(1) look for how many resistances are connected back to back with out any branching in between them ( they are in series and current through is same ) (2) Look for the resistors connected by their end connected together or same two points they are in parallel and the potential difference across them is same (3) look for sorts if two points are sorted mean potential difference between them is zero and current in any other resistor connected to these two points is zero
" across any resistance the potential is 0 " is meaning less actually it is " across any resistance the potential difference is 0 " and this is as I wrote takes place when the two points are sorted
