Well modes of heat trans. are of course mainly three-conductn,convctn and raditn. Conductn occurs in metals mainly -trans of heat by vibratn of atoms in the lattice.
Convectn is thru the bodily movemnt of molecules which go around in a cycle around the heat source.
Radiatn is thru electromagnetic waves.(heat-infrared)
