ACCORDING TO ME THERE WILL BE 2 EXPLNATIONS
FIRST ONE
since the coefficient of friction or frictional force is changing the Scooter will pass through the path that offers the least resistance .
2ND
LIKE WATER DOES NOT FLOW IN THE UPWARD DIRECTION ON ITS OWN
SO THE SCOOTER IS NOT MOVING IN THE UPWARD DIRECTION
SINCE THE FUEL IS PROVIDING ENERGY IT IS TRYING TO GO THROUGH THE PATH THAAT REQUIRES THE LEAST EFFORT TO OVERCOME GRAVITY
