see guys a score above 90 is a good one and get easily fetch you cs .Guys getting a score above 90 get a rank under 2000 .

score between 80 to 90 will get  u a rank in the rank of 3500 to 6000 and can easily fetch you ay branch except cs and ece.

score between 70 to 80 brings a rank in between 6000 to 10,000 and can get u mechanical and all streams below it..

 

as far as reputation of vit is considered then let me tell you that it is  a private college. If you dont get seat in iit or any nit or bits then going to vit is a nice option . but being a private college its curicullum is quite demanding and you need to work hard over there . IN nit's and iit's the curicullum is not so tough as they are governed by the indian government and you can complete yur engineering very easily and without much pains..

 

adding my own comments if you are getting admission in vit and manipal both then go for manipal as the atmosphere of vit is not so good (everyone is so strict over there more over you will feel quite lonely and isolated ) .
