Shift the origin such that the new co-ordinates would be (X,Y) = (x-c,y-c) i.e. x = X + c and y = Y + c 1/x + 1/y = 1/c c(x+y) = xy c(X + c + Y + c) = (X + c)(Y + c) cX + cY + 2c2 = XY + cX + cY + c2 XY = c2 I think rest of the part you can do on your own. |
