Hi arny
N204 dissociates into 2 moles of NO2

first of all v.d is always half of the molar mass of substances present

suppose 1 mole reacted
after certain time

N2O4          to         2NO2     .............alpha is dissociation constant
1 - (alpha)              2(alpha)

total moles (1 + alpha)
v.d = 26
so molar mass of (1+alpha) = 26*2 = 52
grams of (1+alpha) moles = (1+alpha)52 = grams initially = 1*92
therefore,
 alpha = 0.77
so dissociation is 77%
