in negative deviation d inter- molecular attractions r greater than intra molecular attractions


eg> acetone n choloform


there is intermolecular hydrogen bond btw acetone n chloroform`n thus less vapours r formed wic in turn decrease the vapour pressure than the xpected vapour pressure
