There are different cases for this one......
I'm sorry if my previous answer was wrong.. but think about this one now....
I guess the block is static...
The gravitational force acts along the centre of mass......
Frictional force produces a torque, whose magnitude can be calculated
Now the block is not rotating, that means frictional torque must be balanced, and the hero of this problem, the normal reaction, does exactly the same
