Cations +ve like Na+ Anions -ve like Cl- For electrochemical cells remenber 1 thing only LOAN- Left Oxidation Anode Negative. This implies that Cathode is +ve in electrochemical cells. In electrolytic, polarity is opposite( Anode is + and Cathode is -ve) |
