In a solution,, many of the particles of other impurities cover the volume ,, and also the surface of the substance.. The release of heat from surface to the surroundings is the main reason for the freezing under the favorable conditions,, thus disturbance in this causes depression in freezing point.. This depression is used to study coagulation,, but this is the most inconvenient adoption among all the properties like elevation of boiling point, osmotic pressure, depression.. etc because it has many exceptions and coagulation is not uniform and there are particles showing different properties at time of freezing(even water)..
