sriram,I think u made a mistake after subtraction,It becomes,
S(x-1)={x
n+1
+.....+x+1}-(n+1),which on simplifying gives the same ans as mine.
MAKING A MISTAKE IS HUMAN BUT REPEATING IT IS IDIOTIC.
