the Torricelli's theorem is valid only when the vessel contaning water is at rest ..... but in this Q it is accelerating ..

so here if the vessel has accleration then surely the liquid will come out

of hole.

because if vessel has accln then the shape of water inside vessel

will become tilted by angle theta

and tan theta = a / g...

hence the assertion is wrong but reason is correct....
