A solution is obtained by mixing 300 g of 25% solution and 400 g of 40% solution by mass.Calculate the mass % of the resulting solution?
25% means 25 gms in 100 gms of soln thus we have 75 gms 40% means 40 gms in 100 gms of soln hence we have 160 gms
Total Mass of solute in the soltuion is 235 gms the total mass of soltuion is 700 gms thus mass percentage is 33.5
