A wire of certain material is stretched slowly by ten percent. Its new resistance and specific resistance become respectively.....
Specific resistance = constant for a given material
For new R:
New Length = 1.1 L (110% of L)
Since Area of cross section is inversely proportional to length so
New Area of cross section = A/1.1
New Resistance = p l/a = p (1.1)^2 L / A
so new resistance is 1.21 times original resistance.
