A body is moved along a straight line by a machine delivering constant power.The distance moved by the body in time t is proportional to what value of t and why?
P = work / time = force x distance / time = mass x acceleration x dist / time = mass x dist^2 / time^3 so dist^2 is proprtional to time^3 or distance is proportional to t^3/2
