Bayes rule is simply applied when u have to find the probability of occurance of event A when event B has already occured ..

THis probability is very much different from the probability that event A occurs .. the reason is simple A and B might be related to each other ..

let me take an example ..

suppose i want to find the probability that I have a cavity given that my teeth is already aching .. now that my teeth is aching there is a large probability tht it is due to cavity .. this is much different from probability tat i hav cavity ..
