Take a transparent trough full of water and a cardboard on which u can place the 8 coins in succession. Now place the cardboard on the rim of the trough and tilt it so that all the coins enter the water at the same time. Now, observe the coins. The coin which reaches the bottom first is the heavier one. This method can do ur work in first attempt.
