Man you are doing a pretty good job. I just cant bare the ignorant fools who I assume, are just 12th pass outs displaying their minimal knowledge on centring the topic towards the 10 RANK in INDIA TODAY. I just registered my self here to help you a bit. I am an alumni of VIT and at present I am doing my Masters in US

Why is evry one hell bent on proving that VIT doesnt deserve a 10 rank ? Havent you got many other things to worry and enquire about a college ? Lemme say my views.

Ok. VIT doesnt deserve a 10 rank. I agree. So wat ? Does tat make any change to you. If you are good enuf to get into an IIT or NIT go for em. You dont have to hang on such sites looking for what is a best college for u. And Yes, VIT has a very high fee structure. if any one of you have a problem with that dont join. No point arguing to reduce the fees.

I missed a seat into IIT and hence was looking for a decent enuf college wid reputation. REPUTATION plays an important role and u ll recognise it very late. NIT Silchar though being an NIT doesn fetch u in tat aspect. I dont mean to degrade any college but I am just givin an example. VIT has its share of GOOD and BAD. Bad being the over strength and high fees. The good being the reputation and the cultural difference u attain being a part of such a huge multi cultural college. I was the one who benefited a lot from that aspect. I had a fear to talk wid huge group and was a silent guy. But all that changed.

Now a days many ppl will recognise the name VIT. How many will know the college some "Thapar" ? may be the ppl in and arnd tat college.. But VIT is known to evry one.

All in all i wanna say is VIT may not be a top or super college. But it is a good college provided u use the resources it has in store for u. Although I wanna pen down many of my thoughts, I ve more better things to do than explaining all this to some idiots who dont understand the the poster's agony trying to clear the rumors about VIT. He is neither doing as part of an add campaign to VIT nor VIT is paying him to do this. If atleast one person changes on seein this post, I feel my effort has paid. If not, theres nothing I am gonna lose.

please, I dont want any one to judge me or poze question to me cuz chances of me returning to this site and seeing them are very minimal.
